Day 3 -NYC
Day 3 was a day of walking for us. We began the day in Union Square to check out the Farmers' Market. After a quick bite, we strolled down to Washington Park where it was loud and crowded. A local band was performing on a side stage while people lounged throughout the park. A short subway ride later we were in Soho for some more walking and some serious shopping. The sidewalks were crowded and the stores were plentiful here in this hip and trendy part of town. 2 blocks south, Chinatown. The sidewalks were almost unwalkable due to the crowds; with people selling everything from fake Rolex to Mr. and Mrs. Smith on DVD. We decided on an early dinner at Joe's Shanghai, where the food was delicious, as Jeni would say. We eventually walked all the way down to Ground Zero. It had been almost 4 years since the attack, but the area still possessed an eerie feel to it. We swung by Wall Street, but we decided to pass on the Statue of Liberty since we had both been there before.

Union Square, I think I'm looking for my map. Them tourists !

Busy streets of Soho.

Ground Zero.

Where all the money is made. NYSE.

back in Times Square well past midnight. this is where they air TRL on MTV. do these people ever sleep?
