Our Maui Vacation - Day 1 ...

It's been over a month since I've posted. I've been planning our Maui vacation for my family and it's been taking every minute of my spare time. But as of right now, I'm (with my mom and dad) on vacation in paradise. It's my first time of course and I love it. I've asked my parents if we could come back every year! Well, here's some pictures of day 1 in Maui.

It was a 6 hour flight, but we finally made it. Here's Maui's coastline from up above.

We're staying here at the Westin Kaanapali. Here's a picture of our resort and some of our room. Mommy said that when we vacation we need to get at least a 1 bedroom suite so that they can have some time once I'm asleep. Not really sure what that means.




As you can see, I couldn't wait to get out of our room. I was determined to find the beach.


I came across a sign. I think it said the beach was near. I can't actually read yet, so I'm guessing.


Regardless of what the sign said, I turned around and there was the beach. I was so excited! The water was so blue and the sand so golden and soft. "this is Hawaii" i thought.


Before testing out the water, I decided to take a stroll on the sand and take in the view. It was breathtaking.


Then came time to check out the water. I didn't know how scary it could be. As soon as my feet touched it, I felt how strong the current was, then I thought of sharks, turtles, whales, and everything else that could eat me. It was too much. Luckily mommy was there.


I decided to bury my feet in the sand and soak up some rays.

Then daddy took me out to the water and I tried it again. This time, I was much more braver.


By the end of the day, I was so tired, I just needed to rest.
