Noah and the Animals + Jacob

Today I went to the San Diego Zoo with my friend Noah. We saw bears, lions, monkeys, elephants, and even fed giraffes. But the highlight was definitely being able to share the day with Noah. We ran, screamed, made our dads carry us up hills. Afterwards, off to PF Chang's for some noodles and soup. Here's some pictures from my trip.

Today the zoo allowed it's visitor's to feed the giraffes. It was SO exciting. I guess my hand was smaller than what Mr. Giraffe was used to because he swallowed it up completely. But he gave it gave like a gentlegiraffe.

Here's a close up. I got to feed Mr. Giraffe 3 entire biscuits.

As I mentioned, we met Noah and her parents, uncle Jimmy and aunt Amy at the zoo today and spent the whole day together. Noah got some cool sunglasses. Looks Hollywood now. I need to beg mommy and daddy for some of 'em.

We started the day with a tram ride to the far-side of the park. It's where the polar bears play. The tram was so high up, but as a brave little lad, I was not scared.

On the other side, I got to meet Mr. Polarbear. A kind a friendly bear indeed. And so BIG!

I got to ride on one as well. This one is not real though, it's a replica for those of you who can't tell the difference.

Noah and I shared many snacks throughout the day. Day trips are always filled with many yummy snacks. We even had choros!

What are we doing here you ask? I really don't know to be quite frank.

Then a pitstop for some more snacks. We shared some crackers and ham. Aunt Amy also made kimbap which we all munched on.

This was our favorite part. After the pitstop we ran into some flat terrain. What do we do when it's flat? RUN~!

Then we had to stop for a breather. We probably ran 18 miles.

We were pooped at the end of the day. Of course not too tired to crack jokes with our funny hats on.

The 'Hottest' Place on Earth

This past Friday, mommy and daddy took me to the Happiest Place on Earth...DISNEYLAND. It was also the Hottest Place in the World. Mommy said it was 95 degrees and seeing I can only count to 5, that's got to be dang hot. Nevertheless, it was simply dashing, like being in a fantasyland. Here's some pix from the day. Daddy made the excuse of being too hot to take pictures so we didn't get too many. Lazy Daddy. But with our annual passes, we'll be making many more trips! ~yes!

When I think of DISNEYLAND I think magical castle. Thus, here I am in front of it.

This one was on one of them bridges with water flowing below it. I bet if the bridge collasped, I'd be swimming with some sharks.

I looked long and hard, but I actually couldn't find one. A shark that is.

BUZZ LIGHTYEAR ASTRO BLASTER was like nothing I'd experienced. Another words, my first crazy fantasy ride. If you look extremely carefully, you can make me out on daddy's lap.

Afterwards we waddled our way up and down TARZAN'S TREEHOUSE. Quite the trek.

Here we are waiting in line for PETER PAN. This was actually my first ride ever! I still don't understand the concept of lines. But more puzzling is why we have to get off after 5 minutes? Strange I tell you.

As I told y'all, it was HOT!

So OFF came my hat. I just couldn't bear it any longer.

But you know, once you get your hands on a Choro, the heat becomes just a distant memory.

2!

I'm already 2! Only 14 more years before I can drive! Yes! Well, I can't believe that 2 years have already flown by. My birthday was April 17 and my parents had a hugh party to celebrate me turning 2. Sorry this post is late, but since my birthday I've been pretty sick, but I'm starting to feel a little better now.

Daddy made these shirts for all my friends and their moms as party favors. Thanks Aunt Jeni for designing them!

I thought it'd be fun to post a few pictures of my 1st birthday so y'all could see the difference from then and now. As you recall, the 1st event was a formal one. Here's me in my tux.

And me in my hanbok.

I look much older that I'm 2. What a difference a year makes, eh?

Here's me and my family with my 'The Wiggles' birthday cake. Y'all know how much I love the wiggles, right?

Some of the preps that my parents went through to make this day special for moi.

Here's me with some of my friends in front of my birthday cake. Some of my friends didn't make it in the picture.

And you guys know how much I love blowing out candles. Like a big boy I made sure the everybody finished singing before I blew it out.

Of course we did the blowing out of the candle more than once. This time Noah took a stab at it.

We even had a pinata! I got the first shot at breaking it. It actually wasn't until it got to daddy that the dinosaur broke.

We tried and get a picture with all my friends and their new shirts, but this is the best we could do.

Here was one of my presents, or part of a present. An official Jacob sized NBA basketball.

We'll end it with Josie in the ball pit.

I wanted to introduce a new member to the Kim family. Shaq the goldfish.
