Jacob's 1st Thanksgiving

This year will be my first of everything. On Thursday it was Thanksgiving and I had plenty to be thankful for. We had dinner at Keun Emo grandma's house where I got to play with all the cousins. It was so much fun. Next year I can hopefully get a taste of that turkey.

As soon as I walked through the doors, grandma wisked me away.

Aunt Janett!

I haven't seen Auntie Jane in awhile, so it was great catching up. She doesn't understand my language yet though.

This was our thanksgiving family portrait.

Me and uncle John. He told me that I'm going to have another cousin next year.

Caleb wanted to see my crawling skills. I did not disappoint.

Here I am with Luke, who is 5 weeks younger than I.

3 generations of Kims. Me, daddy, and grandpa.

My aunt and uncles, plus grandma.

Here I am with John Emo grandma.

The next day I went on my very first carousel. When I got on, it was so much fun, but when the horse started going up and down, I was a bit scared. Mommy held me so I wouldn't fall off though.

I survived!

Hanging out in my stroller.

Mommy and daddy wanted my hat. No way I was giving it up.

I won! Got to keep my hat.

Sunday play date with Noah. These are becoming more and more common, thank God!

Mommy taking me away from my play date. I forgive her though.

Grandpa bought me a new toy. I love it. Every chance I get I go for the bike. I can't reach the ground just yet, but daddy pushes me around in it.

I wanted to officially welcome Baby Dylan into this world. He doesn't know baby language yet, but he soon well.

Here's us with our mommies!

7 Months! ...& crawling up stairs!

Yes, I'd say I'd hit yet another milestone in life. 7 months...I'm swimming with the big boys now. A lot has changed from month 6 to month 7. I'm now an expert crawler. I can even crawl up stairs. I've mastered proping myself to my feet. Next month I might try walking. My dad says wait, but I'm going for it. Here's my week in review...

7 Months is definitely a BIG deal!

My photoshoot. (click to enlarge)

I told you, I can take on those stairs, no problem.

I did it! All the way to the top. I didn't need mommy's help, but she kept following me mumbling something like I was going to fall backwards. psshh. whatever!

Mommy freaks out cause I'm always standing up in my crib when she walks in in the morning.

Or like this.

And even like this. I love it, so much fun.

I started eating these yummy solids a few weeks ago.

So good I eat it w/o mommy or daddy's help.

Hanging out w/ my friends Noah and Toby.

Then poof, there was 2.

I got to hang out w/ my aunt Bora last Sunday. She always makes me laugh.

When I hang out w/ auntie Bora, I get to hang out w/ Uncle Kiman.

After a LONG week of exciting events, the best remedy is this...

Couch Date - Part Deux

Another week has passed and my parents have been, yet again, behind on my blog site. So once and for all I've decided to take over the site. From now on I'll be your personal host to my daily and weekly events. We'll start with last Sunday.

I recently had my 2nd couch date w/ Noah. I had my hand up to ask what these dates are? cause I'm still a little unclear as to what the term "date" is, but the grown ups just kept on laughing and taking pictures.

After all the pictures, Noah and I moved over to what we really enjoy doing. Playtime.

Party of Five. Yes, we definitely party when we're all together.

It was Aunt Jeni, Kayla, and Jean's birthdays. Jeni's my real aunt, but mommy said I can call everybody an aunt. So I do. Happy Birthday Aunties!

Yesterday-Friday, mommy took me on my very first picnic. It was a ton of fun. I wanted to show off my crawling skills on the grass, but mommy refused to let me cause of the dirt.

Here's my best attempt at standing w/ Aunt Joy and her daughter, Sunny.

I really like this hat Aunt Janett bought for me. My head's still a little small for it.

Mommy and I by some water.

Aunt Jeni and Uncle John bought me a rock star jacket. I think even when I'm sleeping in this, I look tough.

Jacob's at that age where dress up is quite fun. We played a little dress up this past Saturday for Danny and Jennifer's wedding. Congrats guys!
