5 Months !

It's amazing how fast 5 months have flown by. I'm sure all you parents can relate. It seems like only yesterday we were bringing Jacob home from the hospital barely ready to be parents. But here we are, 5 months of parenting experience and an amazing little boy we can call our son. There's been many ups and downs, but the ups defintely overweigh the downs. This past week Jake caught his very first cold. Then gave it to his mom and then to his dad. But we're all better now and now have experienced our first family illness.
Like every months (thanks Lori for the idea) we always have a photoshoot on the 'JP' rocker...followed by some random pictures from the past week.

Here's a collage. (click to enlarge)

He's begun (or has been) sucking his thumb. Isn't he cute doing it?

Getting ready for a nap.

Football season finally started..meaning it's time for Jacob to experience the BRONCOS!! Dad's a hugh Denver fan and by default Jacob is as well. Here he is sporting his 'Jake' Plummer jersey.

Jacob getting his first lecture from professor Elijah.

Uncle John and Aunt Jeni got Jacob a little sumthing sumthing. You guys are the greatest..Jacob thinks so too..see?

Last one..this one's for John the photographer.

6th Years! 1st w/ Jacob...

It was our 6th year anniversary today. Our 1st with Jacob. Las Vegas, Cancun, Ruth Chris, Aqua, Chaya's. Our last 5 anniversary dates. This year we managed to get out to Newport and dined at Chessecake Factory..for lunch. Instead of finding a babysitter for Jacob, we decided we wanted to enjoy a perfect day in the sun with our new addition. Fashion Island, Laguna Beach, dropped by to say hi to Elijah on his 3rd birthday, then back home in time for dinner. What a world of a difference from just last year where we booked a room in LA and spent the evening dining and wining; then the next day shopping. However, today was extremely pleasant. Here's some pictures from the day and some random ones from the past week.

Hello everybody, I'm Jacob Jake Putter Jemin Kim. I'll be your host for today's blog.

Here I am w/ mommy. I don't really know what that thing in the background is, but I had a lot of fun looking at it.

Daddy walked over some stones floating on the water and we ended up on this crazy island. Dazzling.

I remember this. I was so happy when I saw that milk bottle.

I was told this is called the beach. It was quite pleasant and relaxing here. Tons of people laying around.

The neighborhood in Laguna Beach was so beautiful.

I love sand! It felt so good on my feet. I wanted to try and eat some, but mommy and daddy said no.

I'm eating some the next time we visit.

After the beach we visited Janett at Elijah's 3rd birthday party. Happy Birthday! Goodbye people, I'm outtie.

Here's the 3 newest mothers w/ their children.

Noah meet Jacob...again. They're slowly getting to know each other. I got a few smiles here and there this time around.

A little bit of resemblence? It's Lawrance when he was a baby.
