A 'Busy' Week in Review

We had an extremely busy 10 days since our last post. Jacob's growing bigger by the day and we're getting used to being newly-parents. Here's our week in review. Of course we'll start w/ a Jake-shot!

Here's Law testing out the baby bjorn. Jacob wasn't too fond ot it.

Eileen and Bella came over to see Jacob.

Bella's is getting hugh!! So cute...

Younsoo's parents came Friday night to say 'hello' to their grandson.

On Saturday we took a trip out to Fashion Island. It was Jacob's very first big outing, but more so for us parents. Jacob didn't even know he was out, staying asleep the ENTIRE time. However, us parents had a blast.

Chillin' on the island...still asleep.

Strollin' along (asleep) w/ dad.

Afterwards, we visited John and Jeni.
Kiman and Bora came to visit that evening, but we haven't uploaded the pics from our other camera yet.

On Sunday 5/28/06, Jacob Kim was dedicated at church. Here we are w/ Pastor Oh praying over us.

With Pastor Johann.

Here's some random pictures of Jacob at church.
With Anna who'll have one of these of her own come October.

Sleeping here w/ Danielle.

Here we are at John and Jeni's again. For some reason it's only the females who congregate around Jacob. But he enjoys all the female attention. Here he is with Amy (due any day now), Hanna, Kayla (due in July), and Adrianna (due in September). Jacob's gonna have a bunch of friends soon.

And finally, Jacob's pooped. It's time for a week long sleep. Wishful thinking on the parents part.

2 days, 2 posts

Yea, we know, we're going kinda crazy with this blogging thing. Our 2nd post in 2 days...
Jacob's been developing some facial expressions. I know, the smallest things seem to amaze and amuse us parents. Here's some more pictures from the past week or so.

This seems to be his very favorite expression. Bathing, changing, after naps and meals, he's constantly making this face.

Here's his attempt at a smile.

We finally made it out to Oikos this past Sunday. It was great to see and chat with everybody. Unfortuately the camera stayed put in the bag the entire time. Luckily we were able to snap 1 shot. Thanks for the pose Hanna.

Over the last few weeks, we were blessed by some more visitors. Strangely Jacob is constantly asleep during these visits and immediately upon the guests' departure, he decides to wake up and demands playtime.

Here's Johnny, Janice, and the kids. Joshua's sleeping, but we still included him in the picture.

Michelle, Dave, and Jaime came and shared a Saturday with us. Sorry Dave, there's no proof you were even there.

Jaime's best attempt to hold Jacob.

Younsoo took Jacob to visit his great grandma and grandpa.

... and some of the aunts.

Jacob's 1 Month Mark!

Jacob is 1 month old today 5/17/06. We can't believe that little 'putter' is already a month old. He's grown quite a bit and noticably heavier. Here's his 1 month photo in the JP rocker. (named after uncle John and auntie Jeni whom bought it for us). We also included our in-house photoshoot below.

Afternoon Stroll

Thanks Johnny, Janice, Joshua, and Caleb for visiting last night(Monday).
On Sunday we took an afternoon stroll around the neighborhood block. Jacob slept the entire walk of course. Here's some pictures of our journey.

Afterwards, it was time for yet another nap.

Almost 3 Weeks...

Jacob's been quite well behaved. He decided to help us out by switching his sleep pattern. Now he sleeps at night! yea! Always happy, almost never cries. When he does it only lasts a few seconds. Loves to be changed, bathed, played with, most of all sleep. What more can 1st time parents ask for.
He also performed his very first roll. Less than 3 weeks old and he's already moving his head pretty well and doing rolls. Actually just 1, but he did replicate it a few minutes later.
He also had his first outing. Too bad mommy forgot the camera. He visited piano emo's new mansion out in Irvine and was joined by cousins more his age, Caleb and Matthew. He loves a big crowd and all the attention, he even perfomed his very first dance.

I can do this just about anywhere.

Defintely my favorite past time.

Being changed is pretty fun.

Here's one of my 'Zoolander' looks.

Playtime is always fun. Here I am in my baby einstein gym.

Mommy told me this was a pillow, but I still think it's a watermelon.

Whoo.. who's that sexy beast?

Man, I'm pooped.

See what I mean?

Thanks for all the visitors this week. Sorry we didn't take pictures of every visit.
